Kayla Keffer
Owner
Kayla Keffer grew up in Red Lake, where she graduated from Red Lake District High School before pursuing her passion for hairstyling. She went on to attend the Thunder Bay School of Hair Design, graduating in 2001 and building a successful 13-year career. Throughout those years, Kayla worked in Dryden, Nova Scotia, Bridgewater, and Calgary, gaining valuable experience and building strong relationships in every community she served.
In 2012, Kayla returned to Dryden and continued her work in hairdressing. However, in 2013 she chose to follow a long-held dream—to become a funeral director. She enrolled at Humber College in Toronto, completing her studies and returning to Dryden in April 2014 to begin her fulfilling career as a licensed funeral director and embalmer.
With a deep commitment to supporting families with compassion, professionalism, and dignity, Kayla continued to grow in her role. In August 2025, she took the next step in her journey and opened her own funeral establishment—fulfilling another dream and offering her community a place built on trust, care, and heartfelt service.
