Kim Mantey(Nee Foulds)
March 15, 1961 - September 7, 2026

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Kimberley Anne Mantey-nee Foulds.

Kim was born on March 15, 1961 in Port Arthur, ON. Kim attended school in Thunder Bay and graduated from Confederation College with a diploma in Culinary Arts. Kim loved to bake and cook, making sure everyone was always fed and taken care of.

Kim met her husband Wayne in December 1979 at a 4-H gathering in Emo, ON. They were married on May 15, 1982 and spent the next 44 years building a life together and supporting each other through all life’s challenges. More than anything Kim loved her family. Being surrounded by the people she loved is what matters most to Kim.

Kim was a very well known bus driver in the Dryden area. She spent over 20 years driving a school bus.

The past 10 years were hard on Kim as she faced numerous health issues. It was hard on Kim to lose her independence but her stubborn side pulled through till the very end. Kim enjoyed sewing, knitting and had recently taken up quilting to occupy her time.
Kim is survived by her husband Wayne. Daughters Jeannine(Chad) Albert, Heather(Mark)Zappitelli, Amy(Peter)Wiebe and her grandchildren Josh, Rylee, Aimsley, Emily, Matthew, Levi, Jacob and Dean. Kim’s grandchildren were her absolute pride and joy.

Kim is predeceased by her parents Robert and Marilyn Foulds and In laws Willi and Ina Mantey.

The family of Kim would like to give a very heartfelt thanks to the wonderful staff at the Dryden Regional Health Center for the wonderful care they gave Kim through her health issues.
